Powerscourt Hotel is a luxury five star resort hotel. The client was targeting professionals who could drop everything and escape for a spontaneous luxury weekend break. On we deliver an audience which is 53.7% ABC1 so we could guarantee to reach those professional adults who would appreciate and value the 5 star Powerscourt experience.

This social ad and competition which we ran for Powerscourt Hotel led to their busiest ever day in terms of customer enquiries. A competition is a powerful way to engage with the audience and Powerscourt offered an excellent prize which was aligned to a deal they were running for the month of April. This informed the content of the social ad which focused on April and on why the readers deserved a break at some point during that particular month.

The mechanism for entering was very simple, users simply had to click a link which brought them to an entry form on the Powerscourt website. The client got the added benefit of potentially growing their marketing database if entrants agreed to join their mailing list.

The article achieved close to 27K views and there were 6K visits to the Powerscourt website and just under 6K competition entries.
